This involved a strict and extensive protocol of work that regarded all phases of the production chain. The implementation of this Management System allowed various indicators to be analyzed and measured, including the water and carbon footprint of products, worker compensation and rights, the raw materials used and finally, the company\u2019s relations with the local area.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: center\">Equalitas Certification of Sustainability<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">All the initiatives implemented by the Company to ensure a sustainable approach:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\u00b7 Photovoltaic plant, for a savings of 30 t\/year of CO<sub><span lang=\"it-IT\">2;<\/span><\/sub><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\u00b7 New company plant to improve sewage treatment and purification, optimizing energy consumption;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\u00b7 Carbon Footprint indicator. The result for La Marca\u2019s total CO2 production is currently 1.35 kg CO<sub>2<\/sub> equivalent produced per bottle;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\u00b7 Water footprint indicator;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\u00b7 Certifications of organizational and production processes (IFS, BRC, ISO 22005, BIO) that are constantly being renewed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span lang=\"it-IT\">However, our commitment starts in the vineyard where the grapes are first grown.
