Italian wine is fluent in “cooperative”. This is what was revealed by the results of a survey carried out by Censis (Italian Centre for Social Investments) on the wine-growing industry: six glasses out of ten come from cooperative wineries.

The direction in which the Italian world of wine is heading is significant: there are 498 cooperative wineries with 148,000 members for a total sales revenue of 4.3 billion euros of which 1.8 billion are from export.

The hard work, passion and dedication of each wine-grower are maximised by unity and cooperation, becoming synonymous with top quality production. La Marca is a part of this scenario as it has always been an advocate of these values, positioning itself amongst the most influential wineries in the Italian wine world.

To support the emerging voice of cooperation, the Alleanza delle Cooperative Agroalimentari (Alliance of Food and Agricultural Cooperatives) has organised the first festival featuring Italian cooperative wines: Vi.Vite. The first edition of Vi.Vite will be held on Saturday November 25th and Sunday November 26th in Milan in the building housing the Cavallerizze (historical stables) in the Museo della scienza e della tecnologia (National Museum of Science and Technology). Two days dedicated to sharing and tasting, with moments for theatrical and musical entertainment. Stop by and visit us!
