The history begun...

hectars of vineyards cultivated with the Glera variety Its history dates back to 1968 when several winegrowers, well aware of the uniqueness of their territory and wanting to nurture the value of their productions, united to found a cooperative of social wineries called La Marca.

La Marca is a second degree cooperative that unites and represents 9 cooperative wineries located in the heart of the Province of Treviso, between the plains and hills of the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene Doc and DOCG areas (Controlled Designation of Origin and Controlled and Guaranteed Designation of Origin). The company is named for the area in which it operates, La Marca Trevigiana (the March of Treviso), where its grapes are grown.

Owing to expertise handed down through the years, experience and professionalism in the field, as well as cutting edge technology in winegrowing and vinification, the company has continued to grow year after year. It is now a wine producing company composed of over 5000 winegrowing members on vineyards extending over approximately 10.000 hectares, the majority of which are cultivated with the Glera variety.
